Zachary Tyler Springfield, 21 years old, of Zephyrhills, Florida passed away on January 19, 2020, surrounded by his family. Zachary was born May 19, 2000, in Zephyrhills, Florida. Zachary is survived by his parents, Doyle E. Springfield and Mirtza Z. Springfield, his sister, Suzanne A. Schulz and brother-in-law Eric Schulz, Paternal Grandmother: Annie Springfield and Maternal Grandmother: Amalia Zelaya, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. Zachary was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather Granville Springfield, Maternal Grandfather Hector Zelaya, Sr.

Zachary was a graduate of Zephyrhills High School, Class of 2019 and attended Pasco - Hernando State College.

Zachary was a multisport athlete at Zephyrhills High School, participating in Golf, Cross Country, Track, and Soccer. Zachary was loved by all that knew him and adored by his classmates. He was named both Homecoming King and Prom King for his Senior Class. Zachary loved cars and owned his very own 1969 VW Beetle, which was a father and son project car that he got to see completed before his death.

Zachary was a young man of faith who put others ahead of himself and always saw the best in people. He loved working with his dad during Vacation Bible Camp and running the games program. Zachary was a self-taught musician and love playing the Ukulele and Guitar and planned to entertain the children on 7-South, John-Hopkins All Children Hospital, once he completed his treatments.

Zachary helped raise money for other children battling cancer and was planning a 15-k, 5-k run to benefit the Childrens Cancer Center and Sarcoma Foundation of America at the time of his death.
