Winifred (Jane) Cirks of Zephyrhills, Florida passed away at Gulfside Hospice on July 15, 2026.
Born to James and Ada Carter on October 21, 1941, in Carlock, IL, she married her lifelong love Marvin Cirks, Sr. on September 27, 1958, She is survived by 3 devoted daughters, Kathleen (Mike) Tumbleson of Lutz, FL, Pamela McLane of Zephyrhills, FL, and Dawn (Danny) Gutcher of Trinity, FL; 10 grandchildren, Jay, Jessica (Bryan), Shanna (Nick), Ryan, Amber (Danny), Brent, Nicole (Charles), Kacie (Derrick), Taelor and Zackary, 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; one brother Kenneth (Dorothy), many nieces and nephews, and all her friends at Oak Royal III.
Jane is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Marvin Sr., son, Marvin Jr., and her sisters Marilyn (James) Logsdon and Joyce (John) Anderson, and her parents. Jane was one of those people who were always there for others, always ready to help in her own way.
She was a gifted artist whose creativity shone through every stitch and every craft. An accomplished cross-stitch artist, talented seamstress, and the cherished quilt maker for her family, she lovingly created handmade treasures that will be treasured for generations.
In her younger years, she had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed racing cars. Throughout her life, she loved gathering with family and friends to play cards and games, and she remained an avid crossword puzzle enthusiast until the very end.
A memorial service held Thursday, July 23, at Hodges Family Funeral Hodge Home on U.S. 301, Dade City at 11am with private internment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gulfside Hospice at www.gulfside.org. She was the heart of our family, and while her passing leaves an immeasurable void, her love, strength, and gentle spirit will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know her. Her memory will continue to guide us, comfort us, and remind us of the enduring power of unconditional love.
