Wilson John Hey, 97, of Altamonte Springs passed away peacefully on Monday, September 2 to be with his wife and Maker. A graveside service for the immediate family, followed by internment at the National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL will be held on Monday, September 9. There will be no showing. After 43 years of dedicated service at the New York State Agricultural Experiment Station in Geneva, NY, he retired to Zephyrhills, FL from Waterloo, NY with his wife Miriam (Merk) Hey in 1983. He was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his daughter, Karen (Brian) Managan of Rochester, NY and his son Robert (Julie) Hey of Windermere, FL. He also leaves his grandson, Matthew Hey. He was pre-deceased by his wife (Miriam) of 54 years, a sister, Irene (Carlton) Stetzel, and two brothers, Lester (Edith) Hey, and Arthur (Elsie) Hey of Stanley and Gorham, NY.
