Bridenstine, Wilma Ione, (84) of Tampa, FL passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2012 in Tampa. She was born March 22, 1927 in Campton, KY to Robert Thomas & Agnes Lawless Tutt and retired from the Marion County Public School System after teaching for 23 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Belleview, FL where she was active with the Thrift Store at Belleview United Methodist Church. She was an avid contract bridge player and a member of the American Medical Technologists and the American Orchid Society where she was a judge. She was preceded in death by her first husband: William Chestnut, Lexington, KY, and her second husband: Bernard Omer Bridenstine, Springport, MI. She is survived by her sons: Charles Thomas Bridenstine (Patricia), Wesley Chapel, FL, John Martin Bridenstine (LeAnn), Dade City, FL; 3 nieces: Chloe Ann Adams, Indianapolis, IN, Priscilla Hartung, Frankfort, KY, Willa Betty Johnson, Crestwood, KY; 1 nephew: C.B. Spicer, Charlotte, NC; and 4 grandchildren: Robert Thomas Bridenstine, Tyler John Bridenstine, Sydney LeAnn Bridenstine and Isaac John Bridenstine. The family will receive friends for viewing from 6-8pm Monday, October 22, 2012 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City. She will be interred at Springport Cemetery in Jackson, Michigan.
