He moved to the United States where he attended Florida State University where he would go on to play rugby for the university and was a proud Seminole alumni and devoted football fan until the very end. He ran the company for over 37 years and manufactured products such as wetsuits, weight belts, golf cart covers, dive bags, etc. and developed a patent for mask straps. He loved all Tampa sporting teams (Lightning, Bucs, Rays) and was an avid animal lover, rescuing many throughout his years.
