William Lee Tobey, age 65, of Dade City, Florida, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026, in Dade City.

William was born on January 7, 1961, in Fort Hood, Texas, to Frederick Tobey and Winnie Tobey, both of whom preceded him in death. He proudly served his country in the United States Army for three years, a commitment that reflected his strong sense of duty and character.

On December 21, 1988, William married the love of his life, Pamela Tobey, in Tampa, Florida. Together, they built a life rooted in family, hard work, and love. William made Florida his home beginning in 1984, where he spent the majority of his life.

William retired as a Production Operator with Nestlé, after many years of dedicated service. Outside of work, he found joy in fishing, golfing, and spending time in nature, and was a loyal fan of the Kentucky Wildcats. Above all, William's greatest pride and achievement was his children and family, who meant everything to him.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Pamela Tobey, of Dade City; his children, Melissa Santana (David) and Alexander Tobey (Kristen); and his cherished grandchildren, Aly Santana, Tyler Santana , Kimber Tobey, and Harley Tobey.

William is also survived by his siblings, Joel Tobey (Pauletta), and Frederick Tobey (Helga), Renee Williams (Rick), as well as many extended family members including Cameron Williams, Tobey Williams, Carlyn Williams, Cassandra Thacker, and many more relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Tobey, on July 19, 1999.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 3:00 PM, at the family residence.
