STONE, William Dempsey, Jr. 68 of Dade City died Saturday, July 22, 2017 at his residence. William was born in Beaufort, SC to William & Gwendolyn (Baltzegar) Stone, Sr. He was a longtime resident of this area and was a member of Trilby United Methodist Church. His passion was fishing with friends and family and enjoyed participating in tournaments where his prize catches won a few times. He loved to share his mess of fish for all to enjoy. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother John Ansel Stone, sister Barbara Stone, and is survived by his children; William D. Stone III, Sean Ansel Stone both of Dade City, daughter Penny (Dirk) Brown Apollo Beach, FL and granddaughter Faith. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 28, 2017 at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 11441 US Hwy 301 Dade City, FL 33525. William will be laid to rest with his family at Mt.
