William M. "Bill" Rose Jr., age 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on April 4, 2024. Born on May 18, 1941, Bill lived a full and honorable life, marked by dedication to his family and service to his country. Bill was predeceased by his parents and two sisters, Nadine Hawkins and Geraldine Howell. He is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Helen, and their children, Tracey Rose Pines and her husband Raymond, and Scott Rose and his wife Elizabeth. His memory will be cherished in the hearts of his grandchildren, Megan Rose, Nicholas Rose, and Michael Rose, his brother Odell and many nieces, nephews, and friends whose lives he touched. A proud veteran, Bill served his country in the Navy before embarking on a 37-year career at Tampa Electric Company (TECO), where he was respected by colleagues and friends alike for his integrity and work ethic. Bill was a man of faith and a member of Idlewild Baptist Church and attended Creekside Church as well. He was kind and generous and devoted to his family, and his legacy will live on through the lives of those he loved and served. His family will gather at Idlewild Baptist Church located at 18333 Exciting Idlewild Blvd, Lutz, FL 33548 on April 12, 2024. Visitation will begin at 12:00 oclock with the service beginning at 1:00 oclock and invite those who wish to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SEWING LITTLE SEEDS (a ministry making clothing for children in 3rd world countries) through Idlewild Baptist Church in memory of William M.
