William "Bill" Roosevelt Richards Jr., 89, of Dade City, Florida formerly of Winchester, Tennessee passed away on Friday, November 24th, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 24, 1934, to Williams R Richards Sr. and Jessie E Richards (McCullough) in Shelbyville, Tennessee. He was a graduate of Coffee County Central High School, class of 1955. He was employed by Nissan and Toyota Motor Company. Bill was known as Tennessee's number-one transmission mechanic. He enjoyed spending his time fishing, playing golf, shooting pool, and spending time with family. Bill is survived by his wife of 49 years: Linda Richards; Children: Sherry Dunn, Pat (Caroline) Dunn, William (Andrea) Richards III, Matt (MaryBeth) Richards; Grandchildren: Patrick Dunn, Daniel Vermillion, Kaleb Dunn, William Richards IV, Jessica Johnson, Shelby Richards, Luke Richards, Scarlett Richards; Great-Grandchildren: Elsie Richards, Nova Richards, Willow Richards, Eleanor Richards, Vivian Richards; Siblings: Debora Richards, Brenda Richards Abbot; Friends: Brother Bill Thacker, Paul Crabtree.
