William "Bill" Joseph OConnor, 88, of San Antonio, Florida passed away on January 2, 2023. He was born on August 17, 1934, in Detroit, Michigan to Frank and Florence OConnor. Bill was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a longtime member of the North Channel Yacht Club of St. Clair, Michigan. He worked with General Motors, Cadillac Division for 30 years, retiring on Jan 1, 1988. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards, boating, dancing, and telling jokes. He is preceded in death by his late wife of 61 years: Marlene OConnor. Bill is survived by his son: Billy and his wife Audra; Daughter: Debi Hoover and her husband: Orville; Grandchildren: Collin and his wife Christina, Nick and Sean, Courtney, Faith, and Orville; Great-granddaughter: Harley. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 12:30 pm at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City, Florida. A time of visitation will take place prior from 10:30 am to 12: 30 pm. The interment will take place at Floral Memory Gardens.
