William E. Nelson 89, of Zephyrhills, FL passed away May 12, 2017 at his home in Zephyrhills. Bill joined the Army, as a Corporal, he specialized in Radar Tech and received the WW II Victory Medal. Later, he married Josie and started a family in Warren, PA in the 1940's. Bill's wife of 71 years misses him very much, along with his 4 daughters and many grandkids. Bill was a driver and enjoyed working outdoors. He drove for a local dairy for many years in the Miami - Hialeah area. The family moved to Zephyrhills in 1979. Bill's favorite job was driving for PCPT. For those who rode his bus, it was a pleasant experience to recall. After 20 years with PCPT, Bill retired in 2005 at the age of 78, but stayed busy and active as long as he was able. To his family, Bill was truly at the center of their joy and happiness. His warm personality and good humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Bill resides in Heaven now with his Lord and Savior. As promised, the Lord's believers will live there too some day.
