William Colin "Buddy" Messick Jr. of Dade City, Florida passed away peacefully in hospice care on July 21st, 2017 at the age of 65.William was born on June 17th, 1952 in Dade City, Florida to Bette Jo Messick and William Colin Messick Sr., who have both preceded him in death. He is survived by his son, Samuel, and his sister, Pamela Wildes. He was preceded in death by his brother, Carlton Messick, and his wife of 22 years, Deborah Kay Messick.William graduated from Pasco-Hernando Community College with an Associate in Science in Data Processing in December, 1986. He served in the Army and was honorably discharged after suffering a lasting injury.William married his wife Deborah on February 14th, 1988 and they gave birth to their son in 1993. He worked hard to support his family and in his free time pursued an interest in computer programming, he was also an avid coin collector and enjoyed science fiction movies.In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Gulfside Hospice.
