William G. Mangarelli "Big Bill", aged 89, passed away on May 30, 2025, in Wesley Chapel, Florida surrounded by his family. Born on December 22, 1935, Bill was known for his larger-than-life personality and his deep commitment to his family and friends. Bill proudly served in the Air National Guard for ten years, dedicating this part of his life to military service. His career spanned several decades as a skilled mechanic and contributed many years to the construction industry showcasing a wide range of talents and strong work ethic and was highly respected. He shared 58 years of faith and fellowship at St. Paul's Catholic Church, where he was a familiar and cherished member. Bill's passions included hunting, fishing, camping, a good cigar, and his love for the outdoors which he shared with family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Bill is survived by his wife of 63 years Ann D'Agostino Mangarelli; daughter, Analisa Adams (Richard); and son, Billy Mangarelli (Cindy). He was a cherished grandfather to Nicholas Basey, Ashlee Afflixio (Michael), Jeffery York (Lauren), Makenzie Harrelson (Dalton), Madison and Morgan Mangarelli; and great-grandchildren Adelynne and Amelia Afflixio. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pasco and Margaret Mangarelli and his sister, Shirley Lennon. A mass will be held in Bill's honor on June 20, 2025, at 2 pm with Celebration of Life to follow at 3 pm at St. Paul's Catholic Church 12708 N. Dale Mabry Hwy. Tampa, FL 33618. Bill's life story is a testament to his enduring spirit and the profound impact he had on those around him and will be remembered and celebrated by all who knew him.
