William Charles Hansberger (93) of Zephyrhills died January 28, 2021. A native of Columbus, Ohio, he moved to this area from Lakeland in 1994. He was a veteran of 22 years in the Navy and 21 years with the U.S. Postal Service. He was a former member of All Saints' Episcopal Church, Lakeland, where he served on the Vestry and was a member of the building committee, a lay reader and a choir member. He was also a member of American Legion Post #4 Honor and Color Guard. In Zephyrhills he was a member of St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church and American Legion Post #118 where he served as treasurer. He is survived by his three daughters and their husbands, Ellen and Dale Palmer of Zephyrhills, Anne and Blaine DiMassa of Zephyrhills, and Sarah and Jon Huff of Eddington, Maine. He had 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 10 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Harriette, and his parents Claude Raymond and Melissa Berry Hansberger. A private service for the family will be held at a later date.
