IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William
Davidowski
December 22, 1924 – January 29, 2018
On January 29, 2018, William Davidowski passed away in Zephyrhills at the age of 92. He leaves behind two sons and a wife: William, residing in Cidra, Puerto Rico, Thomas in Bushkill, Pennsylvania and Bernice Bryant, a long time Zephyrhills resident.
What can be said for a man who never had much wealth, yet lead a life of wealth by visiting every National Park in our great nation, some more than once, fished rivers and lakes of California, New York and Florida, piloted his own private aircrafts and never tired of taking up new hobbies and sharing it with those around him. Born and raised in Franklin, New Jersey, he joined the Navy in 1942 and participated in naval operations off New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. After the Second World War and serving in the Korean Conflict, he became a federal employee at Picatinny Arsenal where he worked until retiring at 56 to spend time traveling the U.S.
Hes seen, hes done, hes loved, hes cared and accomplished more in a lifetime than most.
Dad will be missed by all of us close to him and our memories will always be a reminder that he was a part of the greatest generation this nation has ever seen.
