IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William Earl
Clark
December 12, 1946 – November 29, 2019
William "Bill" Earl Clark, 72, passed away on 29 November 2019 at his home in Zephyrhills, near Tampa, Florida.
Mr. Clark was born on December 12th, 1946, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Dorothy and William Clark. As a combat medic, Bill honorably served in the U.S. Army with distinction during the Vietnam War. He raised 2 children, Tracy and Edward, as well as 3 stepchildren, Wendy, Benjamin, and Scott. As a resident, he served his neighbors of the Terrace Park Estates Phase II as the President of their Homeowners Association, always looking to improve the experiences for the residents and the area. Bill lived in Florida for over 35 years and was retired from the Tampa Tribune Newspaper after a long-distinguished career.
Bill was active in his Seventh-day Adventist church, alongside his loving sister, Dottie Clark. His hobbies included bowling, traveling and camping as he loved to explore new places. His true passion in life was his love for animals, especially cats and dogs, and he volunteered his time caring for his many "critters" as he lovingly referred to them.
He is survived by his children, Edward Clark and Tracy (Clark) Mueller (David), their children Kaitlyn Clark, and Matthew and Lizzy Mueller, as well as three stepchildren, their four children, and his sister, Dotti Clark. He is preceded in death by his wife, Diana Clark, whom he adored, who passed away in 2002.
Services will be held on January 11, 2020 at 2pm at East Pasco Seventh-day Adventist Church in Zephyrhills, FL.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations, monetary or otherwise, in his honor to your local Humane Society or ASPCA.
