William James Ammons was born February 8, 1944 in Monticello, Florida to the late William Ammons and Victoria Barrington. He graduated from Moore Mickens High School and served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged.
He was a maintenance worker doing a variety of jobs. He enjoyed working with electronic devices and televisions. He was often called the TV man and was always willing to help anyone.
He departed this life July 29, 2024, at his home in Zephyrhills, Florida. He was preceded in death by his brothers; John Ammons and Joseph Ammons; sisters: Marie C. Brown, Earleane Ammons Morgan, and Annie Nelson.
Cherishing his memories are son: Reginald Morrell; sisters: Eathleane Happy Horton and Joe Ann Lewis, Granddaughter: Shabanese Nixon, great-granddaughter: Brynlee Rose; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Inurnment will take place at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida on Thursday, August 15th at 1:00 P.M.
