Waneta Marie Puroll, 76, of Warner Township, Boyne City Michigan died on Friday, December 13th 2013 at the HPH Hospice in Dade City, Florida. Waneta had been living with her daughter and son-in-law Cindy & Jamie Brown in the Dade City, Florida area off and on for the last four years. Born on July 12th, 1937, in Onaway, Michigan, Waneta was the daughter of Gerald and Mable Curtis. On November 5th 1955 Waneta married Walter Lester Puroll at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Elmira, Michigan. She worked as a machine shop inspector at Honeywell in Boyne City for many years. Waneta enjoyed fishing, baking and gardening, but most of all spending time with her family, especially the children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Lester Puroll and her sister Jeanne Vermilya. She is survived by her 9 children; Louie W (Devonna) Puroll of Arizona; Randy C Puroll of Elmira, MI; William G Puroll of Kingsley, MI; Mary J Goy of Gaylord, MI; Cindy L (Jamie) Brown of Webster, FL; John L Puroll of Boyne City, MI; Daniel S Puroll of Boyne City, MI; David A (Martha) Puroll of Lakeland, FL; and Jeanne M (Eric) Belford of Elmira, MI; 27 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Aaron and Thelma Curtis of Onaway, MI.Local services will be held on December 28th, 2013 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 21043 Yontz Rd in Brooksville, Florida. An additional service and burial will be held in Northern Michigan in the spring.
