Walter (Butch) Morris Miller II, age 76 of Dade City, FL. On May 4, 2018 at 1:03am went to be with the Lord after a long battle with cancer, surrounded by his family at Gulf Side Hospice of Zephyrhills. Butch was born on Oct 9, 1941 in Valley Stream, New York. The Son of Florence DeBelka and Walter Morris Miller. Surviving sister Penny Kitchens of Brandon, Fl. Butch moved to Dade City in 1976 and made it his home until death. He married Kathleen A. Harvey of VA Beach, VA on Aug 6, 1979 and they were married for 36 years until Kathleen went to meet the Lord. Butch served his country in the United States Navy from 1959 until his retirement in 1979 as a Chief Petty Officer Boatswain Mate. Butch is survived by his children. Son, Walter Morris Miller III of Carpentersville, IL. Daughter, Cindy Miller Kelley, husband Kevin Kelley of North Little Rock, AR. Son, Timothy Moon wife Lisa Moon of Zephyrhills, FL. Son, Kenneth Miller wife Michele Miller of St. Louis, MO. Daughter, Tanyika (Miller) Erickson husband Victor Erickson of Dade City, FL. Daughters, Susie Miller, Valerie (Miller) Reinking of VA. Butch had 21 Grand Children and 11 Great Grand Children. Services will be held at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City, FL on HWY 301, on May 11, 2018 at 11am. A celebration of life will follow at Grove Ridge, US HWY 98, Dade City, FL, at the Club House at 1pm. Special Thanks to Gulf Side Hospice Center of Zephyrhills.
