Wade Thomas “Tom” Mauck, age 74, of Zephyrhills, Florida, passed away on February 22, 2026, in Zephyrhills, Florida.

Tom was born on August 15, 1951, in Lynchburg, Virginia, to Ralph and Hilda Mauck. He grew up alongside his brother, Ronnie Mauck, who preceded him in death. Tom’s early years in Virginia helped shape his strong work ethic and deep appreciation for family.

Tom married the love of his life Betsy Carroll Mauck, in Coalwood, West Virginia on July 15, 1972. Together they built a life centered on family, hard work and shared adventures.

He dedicated his career to the trucking industry, where he was known for is reliability, determination, and commitment to getting the job done. Through years of steady work at Overnite Transportation and Estes Express Lines, he earned the respect of colleagues and friends alike.

Tom enjoyed traveling and spending time on the golf course. Whether exploring new places or enjoying a round of golf, he found happiness in life’s simple pleasures-especially when shared with those he loved most.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Betsy Carroll Mauck; his children, Chad Mauck (Cheyanne Mauck) and Tara Beazley; his grandchildren, Emily Beazley, Madison Beazley, Rowdy Tucker, Dylan Mauck and Jackson Mauck. He also leaves behind extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Tom will be remembered for his dedication to his family and the many memories he created with those around him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 10-11 am at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Zephyrhills with a service to follow.
