Voda Lee "Bobbie" Drake, most recently of Dade City, Florida, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, March 24, 2016 under the care of LifePath Hospice. Bobbie was a devoted wife and mother. A graduate of H.B. Plant High School, she went on to attend St. Petersburg Junior College and the University of Tampa. An active member of the community, she taught Sunday school at First Baptist Church of Tampa, volunteered at tampa General Hospital, and was a guardian ad litem for Pasco County.Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, David R. Drake, Sr.; son and daughter-in-law Kelly Douglas and Terri Thomas Drake. Bobbie is survived by her sons David R. Drake, Jr. (Betsy) and James Michael Drake (Yani); grandchildren Donnalea Hutchinson (David), David R. Drake, III, Kary Lee Drake, Katherine Allshouse (Andrew), Cameron Drake, Trevor Drake, Chance Drake (Sophia) and Michael Yan Drake; and 6 great-grandchildren.A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at the 301 chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City, from 1:00 to 2:00.
