EKISS, Vivienne Elaine McClure, age 91, passed away on March 11, 2023, at Orchid Cove Nursing Home in Dade City, FL. Elaine was born to Elven Arad & Velma McClure in Farina, Ill. In 1948 she married Milton (Mike) Ekiss in Roanoke, Ill. They moved to Florida in 1959. Elaine was a dispatcher for the Dade City Police Department and Florida Highway Patrol. She later worked for Hillsborough County Consumer Affairs until her retirement in 1990. Elaine and Mike resided in numerous places, most recently in Brooksville, FL, before Elaine moved to American House in Zephyrhills, FL. Elaine enjoyed reading, painting, crossword puzzles, and spending time with family and friends. Her humor and kindness will be greatly missed. Elaine was predeceased by Mike, her husband of 67 years, son Nelson, daughter-in-law Mary, and son-in-law Tim Collins. She is survived by her children Russell (Vikki) of Dade City, Jay (Patricia) of Niota TN, Bret of Dade City, and Lynn Collins of Valrico, FL; daughter-in-law Brenda of Wesley Chapel, FL; brother Wayne McClure (Marilyn) of Wichita KS; 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and 2 nephews. Services will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell prior to the inurnment beside her husband.
