Virginia Ann Yager 77, of Dade City passed away Monday, August 28, 2017. She was born February 6, 1940 in San Antonio, FL to John B. & Mamie Whiting Burger. She was raised in the Catholic Church and worked alongside her husband at Ray's Used Cars in Dade City. Virginia is survived by 2 sons: Terry Scarborough, John Yager; 1 brother: John Burger; 1 sister: Irene Burger Gillis; 5 grandchildren: Nickolas Yager, Tari Ann Barnes, Jaimee Scarborough, Jacob Scarborough, Park Scarborough; 2 great grandsons: Malachi Barnes, Neo Yager; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: Ray Yager and 5 siblings: Geneva Burger Hygerken, Juanita Burger Nathe, Virgil Burger, Mary Burger, Libby Burger Parker. A Celebration of Life will be held 11am Saturday, September 2, 2017 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for viewing one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens. Flowers will be gratefully accepted or those that wish may make donations in her memory to a charity of their choice. Visitation
