Virginia Grace Harmon Lyons 100, of Tampa, FL passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018. She was born March 6, 1917 in Pittsburg, PA to Elmer Lee & Mary Alda Brooks Harmon. She was raised in Plainfield, OH where she met and married Harold Austin Lyons. Virginia is survived by her daughter: Kathleen Lyons Chisholm; and 2 grandsons: Thomas Chisholm III and Christopher Austin Chisholm. She moved to Eustis, Florida in 1947 and then moved to Tampa. She has resided in South Tampa since 1952. She retired from Maas Brothers Department Store and was a member of the Manhattan Avenue United Methodist Church. Virginia was a very talented seamstress and monogrammer. She was an active volunteer at both Tampa General Hospital working in their gift shop and her church. Interment will take place at Chapel Hill Gardens in Dade City. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Manhattan Avenue United Methodist Church.
