Hayes, Virginia L., 83, of Zephyrhills, Fl, passed away on March 12, 2014, at Gulfside Regional Hospice Facility after a long illness. She is survived by 2 sons, Richard Hayes, East Sandwich, MA; Michael Hayes, Tampa, FL; 1 daughter, Doreen Carr, Hampton, NH; Brother, Ralph Russell, Farmington, NH; 7 Grandchildren & 4 Great-Grandchildren. Virginia was born in Farmington, NH later moving to Rochester, NH where she married B. Franklin Hayes. She worked at General Electric for nearly 35 years in Somersworth, NH. Virginia was a Grange member for nearly 70 years. She is a past Master of Rochester Grange and Eastern New Hampshire Pomona Grange in NH and past Master of Zephyrhills Grange in Florida. She is also a Past Delegate to the National Grange. Services will be held Friday, March 21, 2014, 2-5pm, at Hodges Family Funeral Home, located on State Route 54 in Zephyrhills, Florida.
