Clarke- Shaw, Violet Veronica 91, known passionately as Aunt Vie to friends and family alike passed from the Physical to the Spiritual on July 3, 2015. She will be remembered for her strength of character, love and inspiration to all, constantly giving of herself without any hesitation or expectations. Aunt Vie treated everyone she met as if they were family, as blood relative, with no exceptions. She had countless nieces and nephews. Aunt Vie was very stern, yet extremely supportive. Violet was born in Kingston Jamaica where she became a dress designer and had her own shop. In mid-life she moved to New York where she completed an LPN Certification and worked in various Nursing Homes. After retirement Violet relocated to Florida. She was passionate and fun loving, a go-getter who always inspired young people to be the best that they can be, never judging only supporting.
