IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Victor Kevin
Bryant
November 19, 1977 – September 9, 2022
Victor Kevin Bryant, 44, went home to his Lord and Savior September 9, 2022.
Kevin was the son of James "Butch" and Evelyn Bryant, and was a lifetime resident of Dade City. Kevin was a loving, kind-hearted person with a sweet, fun-loving, charismatic personality.
Kevin was an offensive lineman on the 1992 State Championship winning Pasco Pirates football team. He was also an all-star athlete and championship weightlifter in high school. For much of his life, Kevin was a racecar driver, achieving over 100 feature wins and two late-model season championships. Throughout his racing career, he raced go-karts, mini-stocks, open-wheel modifieds, outlaw late models, and celebrated two top-five finishes in the NASCAR All-Pro Series. Kevin enjoyed racing with, and competing against, his lifelong friend, David Reutimann and his father-in-law Sam Sessa. He was an entrepreneur and state-certified CDL tester.
Kevin married his high-school sweetheart, Kathryn "Kate" Sessa, and together they have one son, Colin Bryant. Kevin is also survived by his parents, Butch and Evelyn Bryant; his sister, Sara (Brett) Kandzer; brothers, Jamey (Pam), Roy (Jennifer) and Tony (Lucie); and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Kevin was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
A funeral service will take place on Thursday, September 15th, at 4 p.m. at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City. A visitation will take place prior to the service from 3:15-4 p.m.
