Loving mother, wife, and "Nonny", Vicki Lynn (Wooley) Badia (58), of Zephyrhills, FL, passed away on August 19th, 2023. Vicki was born on February 3rd, 1965, in Silver Creek, NY, to Albert Wooley and Barbara Mason-Bruno.

Vicki began dating her husband, Robert Badia, at the tender age of 16, and the two were married for over 40 years. Vicki gave birth to three beautiful children whom she adored and loved immensely; their names are Robert (Justin) Badia, Ashley Badia, and Jason Badia.

Vicki spent her life working and caring for others, and she always put family first. Anyone who was lucky enough to try her food would say she was the most amazing cook, and they would always come back for seconds. Vicki was an incredibly tough and resilient woman. In September of 2013, despite the doctor saying she had a zero-percent chance of survival, she miraculously survived an automobile accident that left her in a coma for nearly six weeks. In 2016, she suffered a heart attack and was hospitalized, but was released shortly after. Then in early 2021, she was unfortunately diagnosed with breast cancer; however, after a year of chemotherapy and radiation, as well as multiple surgeries, her body was able to heal, and she became cancer-free.

Vicki was preceded in death by her son, Robert (Justin) Badia, her mother, Barbara Bruno, her father, Albert Wooley, and her sisters, Patty Pfleuger and Peggy Borrello. She is survived by her husband, Robert Badia, her daughter, Ashley Badia, her son, Jason Badia, her sisters, Linda Binder and Paula Catalino, as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and extended family members.

Services for Vicki will be held on Friday, September 1st, 2023, from 4:00 to 5:30 P.M. at Hodges Funeral Home, located in Zephyrhills, FL, followed by a Celebration of Life from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. at the Zephyrhills Womans Club. All are welcome to attend and show respect to a woman who was so deeply loved by her husband, children, grandchildren, friends, and family; to say that she will be missed is an understatement.
