Vernie Mae Stephens Stone, lifelong resident of Dade City, FL, passed away at her home on December 11th, 2014. She was a hard worker and her family was her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Ray Stone and step-son, James Randall Stone, both of Dade City, Fl. She is survived by daughters Rosa Kay Williams, Sheri L. Petters, Candice Evon Napier and Carol Lynn Stone; son James Alan Stone; 19 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Services will be held at Hodges Family Funeral Home 11441 US HWY 301 Dade City, FL. Viewing: Tuesday, Dec. 16th, 9:00 am, services to follow at 10:30 am. Burial: Florida National Cemetery at 12:30 pm.
