Verne T. Dickerson, 66, of Dade City, entered the gates of Heaven on November 16, 2016. Loved by all that knew him. Among many other roles, Verne was a devoted husband, loving father, and an incredible one of a kind "papaw". He loved the Lord and his faith was unwavering and admired. Verne was a special agent with the FBI for 25 years, retiring in 2000. After retirement, Verne filled his days serving the church and his community. His greatest joy however was spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Kathy Dickerson, daughter Kelly Manning, son Verne Dickerson, brother Charles Richard Dickerson (wife Dana), sister Brenda Jeter, two grandchildren Brayden & Bryce Manning, nieces - Mindy Davis, Julie Reid, Lori Bailey, nephews - Leroy Jeter, Cordell Jeter, Andrew Dickerson, David Cain, brother-in-law Paul Bolden (wife Ceci), and cousin-in-law Rex (wife Peggy) Bolden.
