Vera Nell Pike, 77 of Dade City FL, passed away on September 16, 2020. She was born on May 14, 1943 in Moultrie, GA to parents Roy and Vera Virginia Griffin. Raised in Zephyrhills FL, where she graduated from high school and met her husband and moved to Dade City. Vera loved her family. She had a sweet and caring personality. Her kind heart welcomed many into her home to share. Vera was at her happiest when she could cook you a meal and enjoyed Christmas most of all to do just that. Vera was preceded in death by her loving parents, brother Ronnie Griffin, his wife Ruby. Her nephew Donnie Griffin. Her brother in law Robert Lloyd and her daughter in law Alma Pike. Loving survivors include her husband Paul Pike Jr, two sons Paul Pike III and Jarrod Pike(Valerie). Two daughters Pamela Pittman(Mark) and Cherri Pike. Eight grandchildren Paul IV, Angela, Jessica, Tiffany, Erica, Mark Jr, Ethan and Noah. Two sisters Marilyn Griffin and Carolyn Lloyd, six brothers Medford(Terry) Griffin, Donnie(Dale) Griffin, Wayne(Betsy) Griffin and Jay(Mic) Griffin. Mom also had 17 great grand children and 1 great great grandchild along with many nieces and nephews. Vera's Celebration of Life service will be held at Hodges Family Funeral Home (11441 US HWY 301, Dade City, FL 33525) on Saturday, September 26, 2020; Visitation starts at 12:00 pm, and the service will begin at 1:00 pm.
