Velma Gathagan Lloyd Veith age 92, Passed away on June 5, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born August 27, 1932 in Clearfield County, PA. Velma was the daughter of Miles and Iva (Spacht) Gathagan. Velma was born and raised in PA, before relocating for 20 years to Niagara Falls, NY. She then relocated in 1978 to Zephyrhills FL.

Velma had a passion for her gardening, quilting, painting pictures and many other crafts. She proudly gifted those things to her family and friends. Her greatest love was spending time with family and at family gatherings creating a lifetime of memories.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Veith and former husband Robert E. Lloyd (of 40 Years); 2 grandsons, Scott Lloyd and Cory Waggoner.

Velma was the last survivor of 11 siblings. Velma is survived by her children, Diane Schinabeck, Debbie Waggoner, Robert W. Lloyd (Dinah) and Darla (Charles)Stewart; 6 granchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends, whom she shared a special bond. Above all, Velma has left a legacy of beautiful memories to everyone she has met. Velma will always be remembered in our hearts and never forgotten. Visitation will take place from 4-6 PM Thursday June 12, 2025. At Hodges Family Funeral Home Zephyrhills. Service will follow at 6 PM.
