Veida Joann Ambrose was born on August 30th, 1964 at Harlem Hospital in New York City. She was raised by her grandmother and grandfather, Joe and Margart Gregory. She grew up in the Bronx and attended Harry S. Truman High School in co-op city, where she also graduated. After high school she went on to gain a higher education at Bronx Community College and Lehman College. Later on in her life, she met Lesroy Ambrose, got married and birthed 3 beautiful kids: Zuri, Dakota, and Julius. Veida always loved to read, dance, sew and being in the company of family.
