In Loving Memory of Ubaldo Conte
Ubaldo Conte, a beloved father, grandfather, and cherished member of his family, passed away on November 1, 2026, at hospice in Zephyrhills, Florida, at the age of 95. He was born on May 16, 1931, in Villa di Briano, Italy, to his loving parents, Pasquale and Anastasia Conte. He was one of nine children, growing up in a large family surrounded by the love, traditions, and values of his Italian heritage.
As a young man, Ubaldo served in the Italian Army, an important chapter in his early life. After completing his military service, he left his homeland of Italy and traveled to Venezuela, where a new chapter of his life began. It was there that he met and married Catalina Vargas, beginning a life together and building the foundation of their family.
Ubaldo was a hardworking and skilled man who dedicated much of his life to working as an electrician and in construction. Through his knowledge, determination, and strong work ethic, he worked tirelessly to provide for his family and build a meaningful life.
Outside of work, Ubaldo enjoyed the simple pleasures that made life special. He had a love for watching soccer, dancing, and enjoyed spending time outdoors taking walks. His faith was also an important part of his life, and he found comfort, peace, and strength in prayer. These simple joys reflected the things he cherished most: staying active, nurturing his faith, and appreciating life's everyday blessings.
Together, Ubaldo and Catalina were blessed with two children, Anastacia and Pasquale, who became the center of their lives and greatest family legacy. He was also a proud grandfather to Natasha Britt and Luciano Conte, who brought him great joy and carried forward the family traditions he cherished.
His journey from Italy to Venezuela and eventually to the United States was one of courage, hard work, new beginnings, and lasting family bonds. Throughout his life, he carried the traditions, values, and love of his Italian roots wherever life took him.
Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will live on through his children, grandchildren, extended family, and all those who were fortunate enough to know and love him. His legacy of faith, hard work, perseverance, and devotion to family will forever remain in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
May he rest in eternal peace. He will be loved and remembered always.
