Trina Esther Nelson OShea of Fort Myers, Florida passed away on April 22nd 2020 at the early age of 53 after battling cancer. She was born in Lakeland, Florida on November 1st 1966. Preceded in death by father, Terrell Nelson Sr. Also survived by her son, Garrett Nelson OShea; mother, Donna Messick-Kaufmann; brothers, Terrell Nelson Jr. and Tracy Nelson; sisters, Teresa Nelson, Misty Priddy Harris, and Kristy Priddy.

As a child, Trina was active in school clubs like Cheerleading and Majorettes. After Grad school, she went on to become a Registered Nurse living in the Florida Keys, where she loved taking care of and rehabilitating those in need. The greatest day of her life was the day her son Garrett was born, bringing so much love and joy into her heart. She was very proud of the young man her son became, she always enjoyed teaching him new things.

She was her Daddy's little girl and her Mothers helping hand. She was a big part of her niece and nephews lives, Haley and Hunter. Always helping with homework or other school activities, as well as singing and dancing. She also loved throwing the football or shooting baskets with Hunter.

Trina was loud, proud and loved being the center of attention. She loved her family with all of her heart and will truly be missed by all who love her. Visitation was held from 11am-12pm on May 10, 2020. A funeral service was held at 12pm followed by burial at Floral Memory Gardens.
