Tom Dudra, 76, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, following a sudden illness.

He was born in Bridgeport, CT to Martha (Krasco) and Paul Dudra. After graduating high school, he worked as a tool & dye apprentice for General Electric in Bridgeport, CT and then enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard and served his country from 1965 to 1969.

Tom moved to Greene, NY in 1969 and was employed at The Raymond Corporation for 24 years. At the time of his retirement, he was a buyer/expediter. In 1972, he met his wife Cindy, and they were married in July of 1974 at the Methodist Church located in Greene, NY.

During his retirement, Tom worked as a substitute rural carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and a bus driver for Greene Central School.

He enjoyed bowling, golfing, gardening, and boating and was an avid fan of the NY Giants and Yankees. He also enjoyed cruising while he and Cindy were in Florida as snowbirds. Toms biggest joy was spending time with his grandson Ethan who was the light of his life.

Tom is survived by his wife Cindy of Sandy Creek, NY and San Antonio, FL; his son Thomas & daughter-in-law Julie Dudra of Pennsylvania; his daughter Christine (Dudra) Moffatt & son-in-law Joshua Moffatt and grandson Ethan Moffatt of Oregon. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Dorothy Wells of Oxford, NY and brother-in-law Vernon & sister-in-law Shari Wells of Chenango Forks, NY.

He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; also, a lifelong friend whom he met in kindergarten, Anthony Provenzano Jr. of Massachusetts.

Tom was predeceased by his mother Martha (Krasco) Dudra, Father Paul Dudra Sr., brother Paul Dudra Jr., and father-in-law Vernon Wells Sr.

According to Toms wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services. A private family memorial will be scheduled later.
