Thomas Raymond Richter, 66, died November 20, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. Born September 17, 1948 in Wadena, MN, Tom moved to San Antonio, FL, in 1955. He was an Army Vietnam War veteran, a contractor, and cabinet builder in San Antonio, where he and his wife Carol raised their family. He was Roman Catholic. He was predeceased by his father, Raymond Richter, his wife, Carol Richter, his sister, Mary Sue Richter, and his granddaughter Anastasia D'Water. He is survived by his sons, Darin (Emma) and Wayne (Erika) Richter; and daughters, Sandra and Monica Richter, and Laura (William) D'Water. Tom is also survived by his mother, Sophia Richter, six sisters, Patricia Samec, Janice Schelonka, Donna Brown, Joan Schatzel, Kathy Larsen, and Lisa Brown; five brothers, David, Peter, John, Frank, and Mark Richter; and 13 grandchildren. Tom was an avid NASCAR fan and barbeque enthusiast, and he will be missed greatly. A visitation will be held at 6 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2014 at St. Anthony of Padua Church in San Antonio. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at St. Anthony of Padua Church, followed by interment at Florida National Cemetery.
