PARKS, Thomas Ray, 81, of Dade City, FL, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Thomas was born on November 18, 1941 in Charleston, West Virginia, to parents, Charles Ray Parks and Eunice Helen (Dooley) Parks.
Thomas graduated from Stonewall Jackson High School, and furthered his education by earning his Bachelors in Science degree at Marshall University, and continued his education at West Virginia University, College of Law, earning his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree, a very proud accomplishment. Thomas was joined in marriage to his sweetheart, Deborah (Garnett) Parks in Charleston, West Virginia on June 14, 1968.
Thomas was proud of his accomplishments in his career as a prosecuting attorney, owning his private law practice, Century 21 Bill Nye realty group: Nye commercial advisors, and active in the US Army reserve. Even though he thoroughly enjoyed his career, he enjoyed his hobbies as well, his favorites included; Golf, Tennis, Swimming, and Skeet shooting.
He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Parks, Daughter, Tracy Parks Heckman (Keith) of Michigan, Son, Thomas Ray Parks II, of North Carolina, Granddaughter, Amanda Insua-Null (Zachary) of Michigan, great-granddaughters; Elizabeth Marie Null, and Georgia Lee Null, and Brother, Jeff Berry of California.
A memorial service is to be held in his memory on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at 10:oo am at St. Marys Episcopal Church in Dade City, FL, with a reception of follow.
