Thomas “Ski” Kulczycke, 80, passed peacefully on May 17, 2026, after a courageous battle with renal failure. With deep faith and remarkable serenity, he made the heartfelt decision to end treatment and go home to be with his Savior. His steadfast love of God, country, and family was the foundation of his life and the legacy he leaves behind. Born on July 28, 1945, in Meadville, Pennsylvania, Ski grew up on the family farm, where he learned the values of hard work, humility, and service. He graduated from Meadville High School in 1963 and soon after enlisted in the United States Air Force, dedicating 20 honorable years to his country before retiring. Following his military service, he continued his commitment to community and duty through another 20 years with the United States Postal Service as a mail clerk. Ski was an avid golfer who competed in numerous pro-am tournaments within his age group, always bringing his signature enthusiasm and sportsmanship. One of his greatest passions was the 16 years he devoted to volunteering with Support the Troops, where he served veterans and the community with pride, compassion, and unwavering dedication. Through this work, he made so many wonderful friendships and touched many lives. Ski is survived by his loving wife, Susan; his children, Candi Kulczycke Campbell (Jon) and Gregg Kulczycke (Melissa); his grandchildren, Aiden Campbell, Nick Sweet, Mckinzie Campbell, and Savannah Vaughn; four great-grandchildren; and many cherished nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children, Tiffany Brady Kulczycke; his mother, Rachel Baker Smith; his father, Henry Kulczycke; and his sisters, Sondra Fitch and Toni Daughenbaugh. A Military Funeral will be held on June 5, 2026 at 11 am at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. Services will take place at the cemetery. Please dress for comfort in thoughts of the temperature. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Support the Troops through Venmo @supportthetroopsinc (WesleyChapel) or PayPal under support the troops inc, honoring Ski’s enduring commitment to those who serve.
