Thomas William Giel, 74, of Tampa, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2022 at the VA Hospital. A lifelong resident of Florida, Tom was born October 18, 1947 to parents F.G. "Tom" Giel and Hilda E. Giel. He graduated from Brandon High School and the University of South Florida. Tom was a Vietnam-era Veteran who served in the U.S. Air Force. He gave generously to many different charities, especially for disabled Veterans. He will be interred at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell on Friday, August 19th after a brief graveside service at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, please consider Lifepath Hospice.
