Thomas "Tom" DeLoreto, 54 of Zephyrhills, Florida passed away
April 1, 2025, in Zephyrhills Florida. He was born
October 21, 1970 in Middletown, Connecticut to Donald and Connie (Concetina) DeLoreto.
Tom moved as a young child with his family to Zephyrhills FL. After high school he moved to Montana for a year and loved the big sky country before returning back to Zephyrhills, where he met the love of his life. Tom was united in marriage in February of 2000 in San Antionio, Florida to Michelle Henrich.
Upon graduating from college with his bachelor's in science, he was employed at Kennedy Space Center working on the space shuttles as an Electrical Engineer.
After, he worked in the Integrated Traffic and Signals (ITS) industry programing, construction, and trouble shooting.
Some of his enjoyments included his love for football. Tom was a life-long, passionate, Gator Fan and Dallas Cowboy fan and that passion was shared with his sons and wife. As a devoted father, he loved watching his daughter dance and his sons play their sports. He enjoyed playing basketball in the yard with his friends and children. As a family, they recently traveled to Europe where many memories were created. Other times you could find them fishing together along Florida's coast. He was a fierce provider for his family, working tirelessly to make sure they were all cared for. Tom was always ready to help anyone who asked. He loved to cook and was known for his buffalo chicken wings, spaghetti sauce, and BBQ ribs with homemade sauce.
He has left behind many close friends, who were considered family.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Michelle Henrich DeLoreto;
Children, Zachery ( Lauren), Carson and Kaeleigh DeLoreto, sister Brenda (Kevin) Corrigan brother in law, Ed (Ines) Henrich; sister in law, Lisa (Chris) Wilhelm; in-laws Edmond and Rozanne Henrich; nieces and nephews, Jolynn (Joe) Surack and great niece Josie; Hannah and Brody Corrigan, Katrina and Gabrielle Henrich, Christian, Sophia, Claire, and Matthew Wilhelm
Along with many beloved Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Connie (Concetina) DeLoreto, sister, Donna (Butch) Hillis and life long friend Scott Kieper.
A Mass will be conducted Monday, May 12th at 3:00 at St. Rita Catholic Church in Dade City, Fl
Celebration of Life Following the mass in Social Hall from 4-6pm.
