On July 3, 2022, in Zephyrhills, Florida, my Husband and Best Friend, Thomas S. Clancy, Sr (Tommy, Tom or TC as he was fondly called) passed away peacefully at the age of 81. He was predeceased by his parents, Margaret E. and Thomas J. Clancy.Tommy leaves behind his beloved wife and companion of 41 years, Camilla E (Jones) Clancy. His second family was Donna Merrick and Tom Howell, Jesse Jones and Joe Yee, and those that passed Louise and William B Jones, Sr, James Merrick, William B Jones, Jr, and MariaSue and Dennis Conway. He also leaves behind his beloved daughter, Jennifer Sloan, and her husband Derek Bikoff, and two very special grandchildren, Damon and Vivienne Bikoff. His brother, Francis Clancy and his wife Doris, and his sister Eleanor Clancy. Also, Nieces, Aileen, Carrie, Shannon, and Nephews James, William, and Thomas. Great Nieces Claudia, Ava Maria, Aria Renee, Nora Dee, and Paisley, and Great Nephew Jonah. Along with many cousins and friends.Tommy grew up in Brookline, MA, and graduated from Brookline High School, Class of 1959. He then entered the United State Navy from 1960-1964. After a short time on the Brookline Park Police on May 8, 1967, he became a Brookline Firefighter and remained there until he retired on April 1, 1999.His many interests included golf, boating, his antique car and just enjoying life with family and friends. He was a Past Exalted Ruler of the BPOE #886 Brookline and a Life Member of the BPOE #10 Boston. He was a Past Commodore of the Watertown Yacht Club and current Booster. He was a Member of the Marsh American Legion Post in Watertown and a Member of the VFW in Zephyrhills, FL.Tommy will be laid to rest in the National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida on August 8, 2022, at 11:00 AM. Family and Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life between the hours of 3 - 5 PM at our home. Those wanting to remember Tommy with a donation in lieu of flowers are asked to consider Boston Children's Hospital, Fegan, MDA Care Center, 300 Longwood Avenue 11th Floor, Boston, MA 02115.
