Thomas Buckley, 72, of San Antonio, Florida died December 15, 2024, at the Rucki Hospice Care Center, with his loving wife by his side, after a short courageous, one month battle with heart disease.

Born in Needham, Massachusetts on November 17, 1952, he was the son of the late Robert Buckley and the late Dorothy (Woodward) Buckley.

He graduated from White Mountains Regional High School, Whitefield, NH. He earned a Bachelor of Business degree from Hawthorne College.

Tom was very versatile in his employment history. He worked for some time with AR Plus in the field of recycling plane de-icing fluid at Bradley International Airport. He was a natural in the Food and Beverage Industry. Most recently, he was a Chef/Cook at Medley at Mirada Clubhouse in San Antonio, Florida.

Tom will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, kind and gracious stepfather, proud grandfather and an incredible brother. He was an avid New England sports fan and was known for his elaborate all-around sports memorabilia collection. He shared his passion for sports as well as his kindness with all. Tom's charisma, dry sense of humor and big heart touched everyone who knew him. If you knew him, you loved him.

His family members include his wife of twenty-one years, Charnee (Wheeler) Buckley of San Antonio, Florida; three stepchildren, Adriane Leigh of Los Angeles, California; Cole Kilby and partner Hollie Crane of Lancaster, NH; Mallory Blanchard and her husband Anthony of Lancaster, NH; two step-grandchildren Maverick Kilby and Estelle Kilby of Lancaster, NH; two sisters, Judith McMann of Lancaster, NH; Patricia Avery of Woonsocket, RI; one brother Dick Buckley of Globe, AZ; several nieces and nephews.

Services: Following cremation, a Celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 10, 2025, from 11 am to 2 pm at the Tampa Bay Golf and Country Club, 10641 Old Tampa Bay Drive, San Antonio, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to the Revive & Restore Ministry at www.reviveandrestore.net . A non-profit serving the houseless in Tampa Bay.
