84, went to be with his Lord on August 21, 2017 after losing a six week battle with pneumonia. Tom was born in Pittsburgh, PA. Upon graduation from Langley High School in Pittsburgh he served in the U.S. Army after which he earned his degree from the University of Pittsburgh on the GI Bill. Upon graduation he moved to St. Petersburg, FL in 1963 where he lived until 1996 when he moved to Dade City so he could expand his hobby of collecting antique automobiles and memorabilia. Tom owned his own accounting practice of Brookover and Associates which he retired from in January of this year. He was predeceased in death by his first wife, Betty and is survived by his wife of 33 years, Judi Brookover, son, Thomas M. Brookover III, daughter-in-law Eileen Brookover and granddaughter, Savannah Brookover. Memorial Services will be held 10am Monday, August 28, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church of Dade City, 37628 Church Avenue with a light lunch served afterwards followed by a procession from the Church to Florida National Cemetery at Bushnell for a 1:30 service at Florida National Cemetery.
