Theresa L McMahon

July 3, 1954 – March 9, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Theresa L. McMahon, age 71, of Zephyrhills, FL after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Known affectionately as Terry, or TT or Aunt TT or Sissy. Her life was defined by her deep love for family and friends, always putting the needs of others before herself. She had a joyous attitude and welcoming smile for everyone she met.

Terry graduated from Evergreen Park High School in Illinois. She also earned an Associates Degree from Tampa Technical College. Terry was the co-owner of Ostrander Trucking, where she was the principal driver for many years. Before truck driving, she owned an amusement company and traveled all around the United States.

Terry was preceded in death by her parents William and Charlene, sister Mary and brothers Rich, Bill, Christopher, and Patrick. Her memory will be cherished by her best friend of over 50 years, Be Ostrander, as well as brothers Ed (Amy), Tom (Lynda), Joseph, and sisters Kathy and Camille (Dan), as well as Honey, Cindy and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. The McMahon Family wishes to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Terry’s “second family” of 50 years: Cathy, Hector, Ryan, Karina, Brady, Lilly, Tristan, Doug, Dominique, Michael, who provided excellent care and compassion in her final days.

Celebration of Life will commence at Noon on Tuesday, March 17 at New Walk Church, 35008 Pure Water Way, Zephyrhills, FL 33541.
