Terry Smith, 68 years old, a long-term resident of Dade City, Florida passed away on August 22, 2022, at Advent Health Zephyrhills. Terry was born in Kansas City, Missouri on June 29, 1954, to his parents Harold Edward and Lois M. Smith. Terry achieved his associates degree in applied sciences, was certified in computer programming and retired after many years from Withlacoochee River Electric Company as the top technology support staff. Terry enjoyed anything that had to do with technology including building computers from scratch, he enjoyed brain teasers and helping people but above all he treasured spending time with his family and friends. Terry was preceded in death by both of his parents, his brother Dwayne Smith of Missouri, his sister Linda White of Missouri and his first true love, Rita Brunner. Terry leaves behind his wife, Karen Sauls of Dade City, his stepdaughter Bridget (Josh) Guthrie of Dade City, granddaughter Anna Guthrie, stepdaughter Andrea (Brad) Kyle of Dade City, grandson Jacob Sauls-Rodgers and his brother Gary Smith of Missouri along with numerous other friends and extended family. Terrys Celebration of Life will be held at Hodges Funeral Home in Dade City on September 10th, 2022, at 3:00pm.
