Terry Lynn Meyer was born on April 5th, 1959 in Tampa, FL. to her mother Lavonne Truman.

Terry Lynn, her sister Sherry and her brother Craig were raised in Central Florida surrounded by their large family of Meyer relatives. As "Granddaddys Girl" she was doted upon by her grandparents Leo & Lora Meyer.

After graduating from Plant City high school in 1977, she had her son, Anthony, in 78 and her daughter, April, in 82. She raised her family with lots of love, devotion, support and understanding. In 2001, she was blessed with grandmotherhood when her grandson, Troy, was born and again four years later with the arrival of her granddaughter, Michele. As an attentive, caring grandmother she was happy being involved in her familys achievements.

Terry was a CDL holder for 27 years and during that time she visited 40 of our 50 states. Following in her grandmothers and mothers footsteps, she started out as a school bus driver in Allen, TX. As a no-nonsense, detail oriented long distance truck driver she was known to be short of stature but big of heart with piercing blue eyes and a funny story to tell.

An unexpected pancreatic cancer diagnosis brought together family, friends and co-workers alike and they all supported her, prayed and stood by her side until her last breath.

Our loving mother Terry transcended this life to be with her Heavenly Father on October 29th, 2023. Left to cherish her memories are her children Anthony Lisenby Jr. (Laura) and April McCalpin (Earl), her grandchildren Troy McCalpin, Michele McCalpin and Tyterria McCalpin, her sister Sherry Gove, her brother Craig Anderson (Sariati) and a considerable host of Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her Dad, Frederick Richard Truman, and many other family members and friends.
