Terrell R. Nelson 82, of Dade City, FL passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in Tampa. He was born March 20, 1935 in Opp, AL to Dock Maple & Mamie Lala Beck Nelson and was a US Army Veteran. He moved to this area 76 years ago from Louisiana. He worked for 17 years at the American Can Company and then worked for the Pasco County School Board for 7 years at the East Pasco Bus Garage. He spent many years involved in the Cattle Industry and Property Management. He enjoyed spending time with his family and doting on his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 42 years: Audrey H. Nelson; 8 children: Terry Nelson (Laura), Teresa Nelson, Tracy Nelson (Dorothy), Wade Nelson (Ana), Trina Smith (Larry), Ashley Caye (Lenny), Jeff Gilbreath, Jerry Gilbreath (Debbie); 3 siblings: Diane Graham, Barbara LeJuene (J.W.), Gerald Nelson (Donna); 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents: Dock & Mamie Nelson; sisters: Carolyn Ennis, Beverly Sue Matthews; and brothers: Harold "Buddy" Nelson and Ricky Nelson. Funeral Services will be held 11:30am Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home with burial to follow at Floral Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends for viewing from 10am to 11:30am prior to service time at the funeral home. Visitation
