RUBNER, Tammy Jean Neptune, 62, of Dade City, Florida peacefully entered the gates of heaven February 20, 2022 in Zephyrhills, Florida. She was born December 29, 1959 in Akron, Ohio to Theodore Lewis Neptune Sr. and Carolyn Jean Neptune. Tammy grew up in Akron Ohio, and moved to Tarpon Springs Florida as a teenager. She graduated from Tarpon Springs High School, and later married her sweetheart, Paul Lee Rubner Sr. on October 22, 1993. They moved to Jasper Florida where they lived for several years before returning south and settling in Dade City. Tammy was a devoted Christian, and enjoyed shopping, baking, family gatherings, going to baseball games and fishing with her husband.
Tammy loved her family dearly and would do anything for them. Everyone was welcome at her home. She was a loving wife, mother, stepmother, aunt, and the best big sister possible.
Tammy is survived by her husband: Paul Lee Rubner Sr.; Daughter: Christina Hewett (Will Devine); Stepson: Paul Rubner Jr. (Jay Sapasap); Siblings: Teddy (Judy) Neptune of New Port Richey, Florida, Timmy Neptune of New Port Richey, Florida, Tommy (Kim) Neptune of Akron, Ohio, Teri (Brian) Caskey of Clinton, Ohio, Tricia (Tom) Coffy of Akron, Ohio; Several loved nieces and nephews; Dear friend: Sandy Hurst and Alex Vetrano, who held a special place in her heart; two beloved cats: Two Face and Fluff.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Theodore Lewis Neptune Sr. and Carolyn Jean Neptune; and cat: Maggie.
A graveside service will be held February 25, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Dade City Cemetery. A visitation will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
