Tami Elizabeth Bentley 65, of Dade City, FL passed away peacefully on September 26th, 2023, at Gulfside Hospice in Zephyrhills, surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 14, 1958, in Gettysburg, PA to John Edward & Anna Alberta Settle. She married Randy Bentley on November 6th, 1993, and they had two children: Molly and Peter. She also worked as a Senior Elections Deputy for the Pasco County Supervisor of Elections Office.
Tami was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. She graduated from Florida Southern College with a degree in Communications and worked for the Supervisor of Elections Office for 25 years. She loved to travel, knit, doodle, garden, work on puzzles, remodel old cracker style houses, bird watch, and play with her poodles. She was known for her beautiful smile, grace, inspiration, caring, gratitude, courage, and her wonderful and witty sense of humor.
Tami is survived by her husband of 29 years, Randy; her daughter Molly; her brother: Keith Settle; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and son Peter.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on November 16th, 2023 at 12:00 p.m., at The Dade City Garden Club. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gulfside Hospice in Tami's name.
